Awarded to younger members (i.e. not leaders) for courage despite long term illness, bravery and competence in an emergency, caring for a sick relative and dealing with other exceptional circumstances.
One in a Million
Thankyou at district or division level with thanks badge – to be given locally not at awards, commissioner will purchase badge.

Midlands Chief Commissioner Award
Each year the county is allocated a number of places. . The award recognizes the extraordinary contribution and dedication given by a member of Girlguiding Midlands who is providing quality guiding to girls and young women primarily at a unit level.

Midland Region Award
Outstanding service of an active member at county or region level can be considered for this award
Midlands Merit Award
(for members up to their 19th birthday) who has shown great initiative and responsibility either at an incident or in some other commendable way or continues their guiding activities whilst displaying a positive attitude despite experiencing a long-term medical condition or coping with exceptional circumstances.
