First Response training – BOOK HERE!

We have a selection of first response trainings that are available to book.
Choose from a Face to Face all in one day or Face to Face over two dates.
The cost is £15 per participant for the full course which must be paid before your course starts. This is a legitimate expense that can be taken from your unit funds. Payment will need to be made to the office before your training takes place. Details of how to pay are on the Eventbrite booking page.
You must be able to attend all sessions in the booking.

Please note: your training will not be complete until you have also completed the First Response eLearning which can be accessed via the learning platform HERE
You will need to log in to the learning platform, if its your first time put in your Go! username and click on ‘forgotten password’ then a link will be sent to you to set up.
For those that hold an external qualification please check the syllabus HERE – you must be able to tick all the boxes and you must also complete the Girlguiding e-learning above.   If you have anything missing we are holding monthly 1 HOUR catch up trainings via zoom so that your external qualification can still be added to your Go! record.  Contact the office for details of catch-up courses – office@girlguidingnorthamptonshire.org.uk

AGM 2021 via Zoom 13th May 7.30pm

Come and join our AGM on 13th May at 7.30pm from the comfort of your home. We are holding it virtually via Zoom. A few of the county team will host a meeting that everyone is very welcome to log into and watch.
A look back on all the fantastic but different guiding that happened 2020, and an opportunity to share some of our future plans

How do I join the meeting?

You will receive an email link with a code and password 1 day before and 10 minutes before the meeting via your email address. If you book on for anyone else please make sure their name and email address is used during the registration process so that they receive the links too

HOLDING MEETINGS OUTDOORS INFO & RISK ASSESSMENT 2021

First Response Module Bookings. Book here, places limited

Girlguiding’s First Response is now made up of 3 x 2hr modules. Module 1 will be completed face to face with Modules 2 and 3 being completed in a virtual classroom.

You will also have to complete the Girlguiding e-learning that relates to this, access HERE

All modules and the e-learning must be completed before the first response can be added to your Go! record. They must also be completed within a 3-month window from start to finish

Below are booking dates for Module 2 and 3.  You must be able to attend both days/times to get both modules.

The cost is £15 per person – this is ONE payment and covers all three modules.  We will be keeping a spreadsheet at the office with payment dates and modules completed for each individual.  How to pay is in FAQs on Eventbrite when you register.  Your booking will not be confirmed until payment received.

Module 2 and 3 Tuesday 13th and 20th April 7-9pm

Module 2 and 3 Saturday 17th April 10.00-12 noon and 1-3pm

Module 1 – The Practical  – you will be notified how to complete this once booked and paid for module 1 and 2

County Training Day Virtually 18th April 2021

This year Northamptonshire are joining forces with Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire too.

As we are virtual you can choose to attend as few or many session times as you wish.

NB Safe space for young leaders will require attendance to session 1 and 2 and the young leader qualification is available in session 3 only

How do I join on the day?

The email address that you used to register for this training will be used to send you log on information for your sessions. You will receive this sometime during the week commencing the 12th April 2021. Each individual joining must have their own email address.

How do I book?

Use the REGISTER button above to book your place – if you are booking for more than one person please input all full names and their personal email to allow us to print registers and to send joining info

Under 18?

If you are under 18 years of age you will be required to provide parent guardian details so that a consent form can be completed for your attendance
