NOVELTY Challenge

NOVELTY is an acronym for Northamptonshire Overnight VE Lockdown Thank You

The aim is to get as many of the County as possible to sleep out or to sleep somewhere different at the same time as we celebrate VE day and say thank you to all those who gave us the freedom we enjoy today.

The sleep-out can take place any night Friday 8^th, Saturday 9^th or Sunday 10^th May. You can build a shelter in a room other than your bedroom or pitch a tent in your garden and sleep in it for one night.

Please email pr@girlguidingnorthamptonshire.org.uk with your numbers attending and photos of them completing if possible (for use on our news page).              A Certificate will then be sent out for each attendee.

Notes for leaders

Please just let your girls and parents know about the challenge. Encourage them to send you a photo as proof they have taken part. We will provide a virtual certificate for all those participating and if there is enough demand, we will make a badge available to buy at a later date.
